President & CEO
Bailey Sory

Bailey Sory joined Realtime Publishers as CEO in late 2004. He brings 18 years of sales, business development and operational experience to the Realtime Publishers team. Bailey has a strong entrepreneurial spirit having worked in multiple industries growing businesses domestically and internationally. Most recently, he was V.P. Sales and Business Development at Convade, the leading provider of a web-based authoring platform for publishing on-demand rich media presentations. Having worked for both Fortune 500 companies and technology start-ups, Bailey thrives in building teams in a fast-paced environment. He holds a strong commitment to delivering unparalleled value and customer service and extends that commitment to Realtime Publishers.

Bailey is actively working to grow the diversity of the company’s publications across multiple industry segments. He holds an MBA from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird College) and a BA in International Relations from Roanoke College.


Chief Technology Officer and Series Editor
Don Jones

Don Jones has more than twelve years' experience in the information technology industry, is the author of more than two-dozen IT-related books, and is a sought-after columnist and speaker in the IT industry. Don's broad technology experience includes Web site design and development, enterprise network and solution architecture, and systems administration and automation. Don founded ScriptingAnswers.com, a community Web site focused on Windows administrative scripting and automation, and is a leading advocate and educator for administrative scripting. As a journalist for REDMOND Magazine and MCPMag.com, Don follows the latest technology trends and directions, and offers both technology market advice and business intelligence for administrators, executives, and consumers. With his unique blend of application and system development skills, coupled with years of experience in management and director-level positions, Don is uniquely qualified to help Realtime Publishers extend its business models into new arenas.

Sean Daily

Sean Daily is the founder of Realtime Publishers.com. A veteran of the technology industry, Sean brings over 15 years of operational and management experience to Realtime Publishers. Prior to starting Realtime Publishers, Sean founded Xcedia Corporation, an IT consulting firm specializing in small to medium sized businesses. Over the course of 12 years, Daily consistently increased revenue and recently sold the venture to focus on his efforts with Realtime Publishers. Sean is responsible for the company's technical direction and business strategy while overseeing the quality and diversity of the company's fast growing publication series.

A world-renowned expert on Windows NT/2000/XP and formerly a Senior Contributing Editor at Windows & .NET Magazine/Windows IT Pro Magazine, Sean has authored numerous books (including Optimizing Windows NT from IDG and Migrating to Windows NT 4.0 from 29th Street Press) and speaks internationally on Windows NT/2000 and related technologies.


Director of Production
Stonna Edelman

Stonna Edelman joined Realtime Publishers in early 2004 as Senior Project Manager. She manages client and author relationships and guides projects through to completion in a timely manner. Stonna has over twenty years' experience in government and corporate education programs, where she handled high level customer relationships and managed challenging projects in diverse situations. She brings to Realtime Publishers the kind of special communication and problem-solving skills vital to meeting the demands of RTP's fast-paced production challenges. Stonna has a BA in education from Prescott College.


Director of Editorial Content
Laurie Wells

Laurie Wells joined Realtime Publishers in 2001 and is currently the Director of Editorial Content. Laurie is responsible for ensuring that the company's eBooks maintain the highest quality content within the tight publishing schedule typical of ePublishing. Wells oversees all of the editorial production and copy editing cycles and provides guidance to authors and editors.

For the past 6 years, Laurie has been a technical editor with a focus on computer publications. Prior to Realtime Publishers, she was a Senior Editor for Penton Technology Media, specifically editing for Windows 2000 Magazine (now Windows & .NET Magazine), SQL Server Magazine, and the UPDATE email newsletters.

Laurie holds a BA in English from the University of Colorado at Boulder.


Senior Marketing Manager
David Knight

David Knight joined Realtime Publishers in early 2005. In addition to helping clients execute successful marketing programs around their ePublications, David is also responsible for keeping both the media and the Realtime Nexus readership informed of Realtime Publishers' newest guides. Having worked in sales and marketing previously for Extensibility, and later TIBCO Software, David brings valuable technology industry insight to his role at Realtime Publishers.

David holds both a BS in Business & Administration as well as a Master of Information Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
